Braham Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the
general welfare and propriety of the Braham area so that its citizens
and all areas of its business community shall prosper.
All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular
attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic,
commercial, agricultural, industrial and education interests of the
area.

BECOME IRISH IN BRAHAM IN MID MARCH
THE BRAHAM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HAS INVITED
BUSINESSES PERSONEL TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONTEST TO DRESS UP "IN
THE SPIRIT OF THE IRISH" ON FRIDAY MARCH 14. CONNIE REILLY
FROM THE BRAHAM COUNTRY FLORAL IS COORDINATING THIS EFFORT.
PARTICIPANTS CAN REGISTER WITH HER THE DAY BEFORE, PAY A MODEST
FEE AND EARN THE CHANCE TO WIN THE BRAHAM POT OF GOLD, OR AN IRISH
SURPRISE. AREA RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE THE ROUNDS
OF DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES TO CHECK OUT ALL THE GREENERY IN THE SHOPS
AND STORES. THE FLOWER SHOP WILL ALSO HAVE SOME SHAMROCK
COOKIES AND GREEN PUNCH TO SAMPLE, AND JASPER ARTIS WILL BE ON
HAND WITH HIS HAND-CRAFTED PIES FROM 3-5P.M. WOODY'S WILL BE
OFFERING A GREEN BEER PARTY ALL OF THAT DAY.
