Co-founder of Giant Step Theater takes the helm for Braham CAPP

Cheryl Braddock of rural Braham has taken the leadership position of chairperson for Braham CAPP, comprehensive arts planning program. Braddock assumed responsibilities following Jennifer Lundin’s two-year term during which time the organization wrote a five-year plan for the arts in the Greater Braham Area.

A trained ballet dancer and instructor, she is also a co-founder of Giant Step Theater, which will offer a theater production experience this winter for children in the upper elementary and early teen years.

She has been involved in the arts in Braham through Time Travel improvisations at the West Riverside Historic Site, and also through a dance project that was part of the General Mills Youth Fitness and Nutrition project.

Braddock’s experience as owner and director of a dance school will help CAPP work towards its goal to bring more dance opportunities to the Braham community. All who are interested in the arts and who would like to attend monthly meetings should contact Braddock at dbraddoc@ecenet.com or 320-396-5059.
